Submission + - Con Kolivas Giving up->

barryman_5000 writes: "Con Kolivas dismayed by the current evolution of the CFS mainline schedular, maintained by Ingo Molnar, is calling it quits for the ck patchset. From the wiki page: "Mr. Ingo Molnar has then begun to rapidly develop and enhance his own version of the disputed code, CFS, sometimes using ideas (but giving credit) from Mr. Kolivas' Staircase-Deadline (SD). Mr. Molnar's code is likely to be included in the mainline Linux kernel. This may have been a strong reason for Mr. Con Kolivas to abandon his patchset." So no more ck patchset? If you use the ck patchset run a few benchmarks against CFS and let them know how you feel!"
