A lot of people, including the creator, believed the dub was better than the original voice acting (sorry, no source for this). Regardless of what they aim for with the voices in this movie, they will fall short, I'm sure. Specifically Keanu. This has already been said, but his generally monotone, almost lifeless voice is a far stretch from either version of Spike. I guess I will miss Spike's signature hair, as well, but that's not really going to be important when you consider all the other major attributes that will almost assuredly be ruined. Also, Spike d---err...woops, little too much 4chan.

eldavojohn writes "You may recall us discussing some legislation about online music. More decisions are being made that may affect how much money Apple must impart to labels and musicians. Right now, it's 9 cents a track — which adds up, when you sell 2.4 billion tracks each year. The Copyright Royalty Board is asking for 15 cents a track (66% increase) and Apple isn't going to agree." Reader scorp1us points out a similar article at CNN; both stories mention that Apple has intimated such a change might cause a complete shutdown of the iTunes Music Store. Update: 10/02 21:03 GMT by T : According to CNet, the rate has been officially frozen at 9.1 cents per track.

gevmage writes "An article on computerandvideogames.com says that the 40GB version of the PlayStation 3 console, which will supplant the 60GB version (at least in Europe) will not be backwards compatible. From the article: 'In a new eye-opener from Sony the company's revealed that it's to drop backwards-compatibility support in PlayStation products.'

Personally, I think that Sony's generally good attitudes about backwards compatibility has been one reason that I own a PlayStation 2. If they dump that completely, then I may go Wii shopping."
