Trolling is a connotation-independent term. There are bad trolls and there are good trolls. Sometimes, Trolls foster discussion, and discussion and debate foster ideas and raise awareness of issues. Links are shared, liberals and conservatives march out waving their banners, and people end up learning something. A community of uses like Slashdot is built upon a foundation of discussion and that is a noble goal. It is an honor to be a part of it.
