Wireless Networking

+ - Networking between buildings

Xaoswolf writes "My parents have a business that is between 25 to 30 yards away from their house. I have seen kits to do this and equipment meant for large schools and such, but not much specifically for a small setup like this. I'm hoping to do this for between $300 to $400 without many major modifications to the equipment that I purchase. One building is a normal house, the other is a bit older and made of concrete blocks. The house has a window that would be good for placing the equipment at since it faces the store. The store lacks the same functionality, so we may need to either use equipment designed for outdoors, or use an extension to place the antennae outside. There is a covered area around the back door that would protect it from most weather if something is placed outside."
