Submission + - Armadillo's explosion and Lunar lander flights

WolfWithoutAClause writes: On the run up to the Lunar Lander Challenge John Carmack's Armadillo Aerospace had a rocket engine let go in a big way. They've now posted spectacular video of it along with the video from their valiant rocket Pixel's attempts to win the $350,000 Lunar Lander Challenge prize at the 2006 Wirefly X-prize cup.
