How does it compare in per-core performance to Intel chips? Everything else is just meaningless techno-babble.
Do you want $3,300 or nothing? Because if Spotify has to pay more they'll go under, which means you'll get NOTHING.
I'm sorry, once he was dead all bets are off, despite what the ridiculous copyright laws say. Laws that lock up works for nearly a century after someone dies is a fucking joke. The people shouldn't have to wait 150 years for content to enter the public domain. If his heirs want money they can get up off their asses and get a job like everyone else.
Because they don't want to pay you what you're worth. They'd rather hire someone younger, with less skills, that they can pay 1/3rd or less of what they'd pay you, who won't demand vacation pay, sick leave, time off, health benefits, or complain about working 80-hour weeks on salary.
As long as I can form a coalition that gets equal time promoting piracy and clearly exposes the Hollywood MAFIAA for what it really is I have no problem with this.
Otherwise it's essentially Nazi-style propaganda, which has no place in our schools. Sorry MAFIAA, but no.
Sorry, I call bullshit. You keep talking about this place, but I just don't believe you. Shilling much?
Maybe you can convert them all to coal*. Cause that will surely be a better, cleaner option, no?
*This message brought to you by the coal, oil, and natural gas industries.
Let's burn coal instead. Cause that's clearly so much better for us.
We had a wood burning stove and fireplace growing up. No one in my family has asthma or any lung-related problems. People have been burning wood as fuel for eons. This is so fucking ridiculous. Seriously, the EPA has nothing better to do than go after people who choose to not give their money to big oil/coal? Gee, I wonder who paid for this "study"?
Because no matter how fast my connection is YouTube never can stream a damned video from start to finish without stopping at least 10 times. I see a video I want to watch, I click the download button, and then I can watch it whenever I want without stuttering, buffering, freezing, glitching, or any of the other nonsense I get from the YouTube site.
Is that if this were an Apple product they'd be selling 10s of millions of them, with iSheeple lined up around the block weeks in advance so they could get their greasy hands on one, use it for a week, and then put it in a drawer never to be used again. They'd never DARE attempt to return it.
Please, even giant massive gaming companies can't get their servers in line for when a big AAA title launches. Why would you expect the government to do what a billion-dollar gaming company can't?
Stop making an issue out of something that's not an issue. Shit happens. Get over it.
Getting anything banned in the US. Money before everything else. We still can't get people to believe in climate change. You think anyone is going to give a shit about bees?
Drug and medical supply companies make far too much money from diabetes. There is no way in hell they're ever going to allow researchers to cure it.
Just realign the flux capacitor, adjust the Heisenberg compensators, reverse the polarity, and whatever you do NEVER cross the streams and Voyager should be just fine. Really, it's that simple.
No way this could ever possibly go wrong...
So I give the pictures to a buddy and HE posts them. Problem solved. Since the pictures were sent to me they are my property to do with as I see fit, and that means I can give them to someone else. What THEY do with it after that is not my concern, and if they were never romantically involved with the person, oh well.
Yeah, real iron-clad law they hammered out here. Lotsa thought went into this one.
I've been saying this for years and years that console manufacturers should move to a semi-closed upgradeable PC-based platform and away from proprietary systems that are hopelessly outdated and not upgradeable. And now we have it, courtesy of Valve and Steam. Whether or not it replaces consoles will depend upon publishers and game developers porting to the new system, and I fully expect Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo to play dirty pool to try and make that not happen. Time will tell.
It *IS* the future, but as we all know sometimes the old dogs need to be dragged into it, kicking and screaming.
