Should I stay or go: Comcast versus Qwest

OK, serious discussion here. Very serious.

I've had Qwest since it was US West - and DSL since 720k was faster than everyone else - but I never use it. I only use the phone to answer telemarketers, and for my relatives to phone me or my son, and I download Qwest email to my laptop using Comcast cable modem broadband.

But, technically, it is my primary email account.

How is the Comcast Triple Play thing? I get cable service (expanded basic plus Sundance/IFC/SciFi/AMC) and I get cable modem already.

Should I just give up on paying $110 a month for phone, plus $10 for LD, and do this Triple Play thing?

And, if I do, what should I do about my old primary email? Should I see if I can forward it to the Comcast email account I never use? Or use Yahoo (have that too).?

Advice? Sure, I'd like technical points, but I'm able to do that crap, just find it boring ... want to know if I should switch or not - from people on ANY side of this.

I mean, if your phone goes down with the net connection, how are you going to complain? Especially considering part of how they identify calling customers is bas
