I am not sure what happened there, the DNS server that is authorative for tristor.name is kind of flaky (or was before I changed it), now it pretty much does it's job. It depends on when you were going to the site, we had some unscheduled downtime recently for about 3 hours, which was odd, since I have fairly high reliability with my webhost. If tristor.name doesn't work, you can always go for the old standby, which is knightsoftriumph.com/blog/
I'm really not sure why I can't reply to comments in my own journal (WTF?). At any rate, it was in reply to:

For some reason, I am unable to comment/reply to comments on my own journal. Whatever. Anyway, on the off chance anybody actually wants to take a glance at it, I do have a weblog (which sucks and is generally uninteresting and rarely updated) at http://tristor.name/. It validates, usually, but doesn't really show any skill on my part other than the drivel that comes out of my fingertips as I type my posts. I used a canned skin with Nucleus CMS, and I don't mind too much, it was quick and simple.

This next week is the last week before finals, then I have approximately 2 weeks of free time before second semester, but the nice thing is, second semester is going to be a breeze....

I am starting college on the 21st, so I will be offline more than online for quite awhile, until I get my schedule on track.

Well, anyway, several people in my friend's list are probably wondering who the hell I am. Well, I am somebody that hardly ever posts (only 3 times since this account was created, always as an AC), and I read slashdot alot. Anyway, as to why you are on my friend's list, the reasons are, I found your post:

1) Funny, and reasonably mature
2) Something I agree with, and you argued your point well and did it with intelligence.
3) Something I disagree with, yet you argued your point well, and did it with intelligence.

I seriously doubt that I will ever post much, especially considering (even though I have a news scroller with slashdot headlines, and I read within 5 minutes of posting) most everything has been said already (ontopic) by the time I get to it. I don't really see much point in rehashing stuff, and generally running my mouth off. So I read, and read, and stay silent.

Considering I never post though, I figured I'd at least make a journal entry to allow others to know what is going on in my head when I add you to my friends.

On a sidenote, I found that their is indeed an upper limit to the amount of friends you can have on Slashdot, and this has caused me no end of trouble, because I don't want to remove anybody, yet I have found at least a couple hundred people of the thousands on Slashdot to meet my requirements.
