Thing 1 writes: An idea for Occupy sites, based on the reporting that they're starting to occupy foreclosed homes.

Leverage.

Given the right FHA etc program, one could purchase a home for as little as 3.5% down. Likely, even less.

So: those of us who are more the 7% than the 99% can purchase these homes, and let them fucking rot (i.e., pay nothing after closing costs). It will take several months for them to be foreclosed on. Do this with enough rolling forward, and the protesters will always have a place to go. Yes, I want this.
