Ok, so I have pics up at http://remodel_kitchen.tripod.com/sink.html (copy & paste, /. eats the link.)
I still haven't received the brushed aluminum. It should be here Thursday. Then the only thing left to do is to purchase and install the Over the Range Microwave and the fridge.

  • It looks very nice. I'd have to say that from what pictures I have seen you've done a very good job...
    • Thank you. I need to have a big /. meetup and cook dinner for everyone who's suffered through hundreds of pictures of my project. :-)
      • Hundreds of pics eah? I missed out on a lot then. But really, it looks very good. I like the weight on the silver hose, that would work better then how my sprayer works. It uses a winding thing and it slips off all the time.
  • These pictures raise a serious issue. Does Diet Dr Pepper taste more like regular Dr Pepper?
    • No, it does not. However, it also does not raise my blood sugar to insane levels, or add an extra 150 or so calories to my diet. :-) I'm not diabetic, but there is a lot of it in my family, so I'm being cautious anyway.
      • Unfortunately, Aspartame [holisticmed.com] is bad, too.

I found a pretty decent fizzy drink with no sugar/substitute and usually cheap (~US$.099): Canada Dry Sparkling Water [canadadry.com].

        • Yes... actually, I have pretty much switched to good old H2O. My brother-in-law works for a bottled water company, so they give him mislabels and disfigured bottles, and he gives them to me. That and I refill them with my filter on my new sink. :-) I'm trying to drink 40-60 oz a day.
  • Those are my cabinets! Amazing how different they look with all the grey. We've got whitish countertops and a hardwood floor that pretty much matches the cabinets. White appliances, too. Everything's just pretty darn... white.
