+ - CryptoCat creator "I am under surveillance, my computer has been backdoored "->

Syobon (1853468) writes "Addendum (added Feb. 10, 1:50PM EST): I’ve decided that the way I’m going to deal with this is by doing disk forensics on my computer and moving on, continuing my life as normal. I am not going to slip into total paranoia because of this incident. I have a history of attempted entrapments, of border interrogations and of surveillance, and with this incident, here’s what I’ll say:
If any agency is continuing to monitor me because of Cryptocat, you are invited to meet me under honest pretenses and have a cup of coffee with me. Just don’t lure me in with lies and don’t backdoor my computers. Be honest with me and I will have no problem discussing my work with you. I am not a criminal, I am an upstanding citizen. If you want answers, then contact me and be honest about it. You have nothing to fear from me.
In order not to cause unnecessary drama, to protect my privacy and to lessen my stress levels, I’m removing this blog post until further notice and investigation. This attracted way more attention that I wanted it to. I just wanted to protect myself, not cause a media uproar. Thank you everyone for your support. This is already a stressful situation and the huge level of attention to this blog post is just making everything more stressful to deal with."

I really don't like being on this side of the argument.. :-(

Yes, you like, you and half of the world who doesn't have the guts to do what wikileaks is trying, expose the dirt secrets of world nations, see, Hitler was right at some point, there is only winners, what US government has doing can be considered as terrorist by other nations as any extremist group in the most wanted. What wikileaks is doing is at minimum, cleaning a bit of US karma, let's show to the world what world people live in.

Yes, exactly, that's the so-called-and-prized 'common sense' working right?. I see a lot people talking about their lack nowadays, yes its a huge cultural problem, but think outside it, if you are Israel you won't care if some uneducated, powerless, commonsense lacked people would think about your country nefarious intentions. So this leave us to this point: every people who read news know Israel is whining and crying about Iran nuclear "ambitions" (what is an utter hypocrisy since Israel itself has nukes) - people who support Israel and their agenda won't care if Israel made this virus, they would applaud - if Israel wanted the other kind of educated people (those who don't buy their agenda and aren't largely influenced my media) to not think this is a Zionist movement of war going on they would really puts those clues into the code, so when or if some experienced western researched publish to world those "clues" people like you would say:

Technical analysis aside, all these Israel claims are based on huge assumptions and zero concrete evidence. Even if Israel did create this virus why would they put references in the code that led back to them?

(why would they? duh right?), no offense just my thoughts.

Profanity is the one language all programmers know best.
