When I get a divide by zero error, sometimes it is because I made some other error such as mis-spelling a variable name or maybe my database connection is broke. Less of an issue with TDD or BDD, but it makes me go back and evaluate if I really expect zero to be a valid value.
An anonymous reader writes: Today Intel purchased chipmaker Altera for $16.7 billion. This follows another huge purchase in the semiconductor industry last week, when Avago snapped up Broadcom for $37 billion. This has been a record year for consolidation within the industry, as growth slows and stock prices begin to stagnate. Altera had already rejected an offer from Intel, but shareholders pressured them to reconsider. "Acquiring Altera may help Intel defend and extend its most profitable business: supplying server chips used in data centers. While sales of semiconductors for PCs are declining as more consumers rely on tablets and smartphones to get online, the data centers needed to churn out information and services for those mobile devices are driving orders for higher-end Intel processors and shoring up profitability."

They really should have gotten a little bit more creative when naming the new companies.
Illegal? How do you figure? What country has jurisdiction? Dangerous only if they guided the yacht into unsafe waters. Completely relying on GPS is very unsafe.
At work (school district in a low income area), we have been looking at Totus Solutions LED security lighting platform. totus-solutions.com Each LED is aimed and they can be programmed to be dimmed when no one is in the parking lot. Looking at a demo model and pictures of installations, they produce very little light pollution if any.
Wonder when they'll receive the DMCA take down notice? I know they called it "parody" but I don't think they where trying to be funny. Plus, I've seen better parody videos fall victim to dmca. Either way, I hate what this video implies, our tax code needs updated and the IRS needs to go away.
This kind of sounds like Moviepass only moviepass is better because it works at almost all theater chains. I pay $35/month (price varies depending on location) and can see any movie once, one per movie day. www.moviepass.com. My referral link: http://movi.ps/Tudu57 I get a free month if I get 3 people to sign up. Its worth it it me, but wouldn't be worth it to everyone. We also have a new Alamo Drafthouse that took over an old AMC theater in an entertainment district in Kansas City. They have an interesting model that seems to be breaking away from normal theaters. They show cult classics, saw a Back to the Future marathon last night, reserved seating, and all dine in theaters. They also are very strict about talking and texting during movies which I love. Theaters are going to have to do new things to get people to spend money.
I use a nylon wireloom and a roll of bulk velcro that I cut off. Keeps all the cables straight and tangle free.
Facebook is near imposible to filter. My suggestion is use something else such as Moodle, MyBigCampus, or Gaggle that either is filter for you or that you would have complete control.
https://fiber.google.com/plans/residential/ The router/firewall supports it.
Its a lot cheaper and quicker to repair a break in areal fiber then buried cables. Easier to find the break and no holes to dig. City of Kansas City has cut our fiber twice in one summer.
Not true, the odds are a lot lower because cities tend to take up a lot less space then farm land and small towns.
Yes, there goal was to reach 250 million people by the end of 2013. http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-ramps-network-vision-deployment-announces-national-4g-lte-rollout Also, keep in mind, they've only been working on this since about last November, they seem to making rather good pace.
I completely agree and don't understand the hate that php gets. PHP is a language for web dethronement. You should be fine going from Java to PHP due to PHP being mostly based on Java. I would have modded the parent up, but didn't see the point since it was posted as AC, so decided to post in support instead.
Its some VoIP thing, it requires data. Maybe qChat or something new. The new CDMA PTT works fine, call setup is not noticeable and coverage is better then iDEN.
