Slashdot

Well I went ahead and used a CMS program because trying to make the site from scratch in Dreamweaver was taking too long. Plus I wasn't very good.

I used Mambo CMS.... and I just found out recently on Slashdot, it's now forked into something called JOOMLA!

Well this is like the 5th day in a row I've gotten the "Meta Moderate" duty.

The first 4 times were cool, and being a good Slashdot citizen I read the comments and tried to do a good job rating the moderation. But seriously, this is becoming too time-consuming. I think I'll pass on meta moderating for a while. Especially since it comes up every day, unlike regular moderating.

Well I started poking around in my own Slashdot user settings, and noticed that somebody was listed as a "Fan" of mine. No idea what that means, but I just added him as a "Friend". Dunno what that will do either.

While I was at it, I remembered the Nuclear Rocket guy who posted a link to the coolest, most awesome thing I've seen in a long time. So I added him to my friends list as well.
