The problem with Slashdot

The problem with Slashdot is that you can be suspended if you don't want to suck Linus Torvald's dick.
No, really. I'm serious. My office's entire class C IP range was recently suspended for a month for being "downmodded too many times." The reason for about 75% of the -1s? Either pro Windows comments being picked out as "overrated" (even at a score of 1 or less), or a totally random downmod to a 4 or 5 point comment because an anonymous coward dislikes my signature admonishing them.
Slashdot: elitist, overbearing, and willing to build a system resulting in the ostracizing of all outsiders. Bullshit. I'm not going to stop saying what I think because some insecure acne-infested nose breather doesn't like what I have to say simply on the basis that I disagree with what he has to say. Don't like me? Don't mod me down, coward. Talk to me.
