For physics geeks, perhaps this new fangled glass spinning game is the new black, but for us fantasy nerds, Nethack still reigns supreme. Tiled, turn based, and riddled with more Tolkien references than The Hobbit movies, I don't think it can be beaten for ultimate nerdery.
At 1-5mb/s I can watch Youtube, I can do email and browse without hating every minute of it. I can even play games online if I want to. I can still download shows (although slower). This is the minimum bandwidth I need to not change my internet habits, which is how I interpreted the question. If it was literally "require" then the answer must be "1 mb/s"
Or just make your PC the "server" and have the "client" (again, your PC) connect to it... you know, exactly like they did in Diablo 2.
If nothing else it seems unfair that they require a constant-on connection yet won't provide one for the servers
Is Fortress Europe still not it's own country? geez guys, could you move along with that?
