I went to the irc chat thing today. I was really supprised at how many trolls were there early. I confused my time zones and got there 1.5 hours early instead of 0.5 like I had planned. I have to say I am more impressed with CmdrTaco than I was before. I got the chance to ask him a few questions and I liked his answers. Not that I agreed on all counts but he was honest. He seems like a guy I could have a beer with if he ever made it to Austin.
After thinking about /. for awhile I realized that I never moderate. I don't know if I am getting ripped or if I never notice that I can. It might also be that I use windows/IE 50% of the time. Maybe they count that against me. Seems like they wouldn't because that would cut out many many more than myself. I'll have to watch for the opportunity now.

I doubt anyone reads my journal.
