+ - Global Cooling? Not Really.-> 1

Saige writes "A blog entry on Daily Tech has been suggesting that a 12-month long drop in world temperatures has wiped out a century of warming. This is quickly gaining traction among climate change deniers as further proof that there is no global warming? The problem? It's not true. The claim by Daily Tech that all four major temperature tracking outlets show global temperatures dropping is easily disproved by just viewing the web site for NASA's GISS, which shows that "The year 2007 tied for second warmest in the period of instrumental data..." The same results are confirmed by the other outlets. So where's Daily Tech getting their data? From a chart that shows only the average January temperature per year, and January 2008 was cooler than usual due to a combination of La Nina and minimal solar irradiation."
