Submitted by Rik Sweeney

+ - Blob and Conquer has been released

Submitted by Rik Sweeney
Rik Sweeney (471717) writes "After several years of development, Parallel Realities' latest (and probably last) game has been released. The game is a sequel to Blob Wars: Metal Blob Solid and the action now takes place in a 3D environment. However, what should have been a cause for celebration has turned into a "get it out the door and forget about it" fiasco, with binaries being removed from the website and from most Linux repositories due to concerns rasied from over-enthusiastic upholders of the GPL complaining about copyright."

+ - Glastonbury ticket registration opens

Submitted by
Rik Sweeney
Rik Sweeney writes "The pre-registration site for this year's Glastonbury Festival has opened. In a bid to prevent tickets from being touted on eBay, anyone wishing to attend will need to submit a photograph, by either uploading or posting. This photograph will then be printed directly onto the ticket, provided that the individual actually manages to buy one when they go on sale on April 1st."
