All this time, I was believing everything I saw in commercials. Am I now to believe that:

1) The Ford F150 that I got when I traded in my Toyota Corolla will NOT get better mileage, and my voice will NOT get deeper when I talk about it.
2) Cialis does NOT come with two free bathtubs?
3) ....

I'm sorry, I just can't continue. My dreams have just been shattered against the jagged rocks of reality, and I need to go get my iPad to pray to Jobs for new direction in my life.

There are some nice netbooks that will work well as Hackintosh computers. Then these Mac Netbook users can make fun of the idiots that spent $900 for a heavy laptop, when then could spend $250 on a lightweight Hackintosh capable of running the all the crap software the school makes them use. Heck, when I bought OS X for my Hackintosh, the OS came with pretty Apple logo stickers for my case. It was obviously designed to be installed on Non-Apple hardware.

An anonymous reader writes "I am currently looking to move from text editing with vim to a full fledged IDE with gdb integration, integrated command line, etc. Extending VIM with these capabilities is a mortal sin, so I am looking for a linux based GUI IDE. I do not want to give up the efficient text editing capabilities of VIM though. How do I have my cake and eat it too?"

An anonymous reader writes "An HIV/AIDS vaccine developed in Ontario has applied for Phase 1 human trials. Safety and immunogenicity studies of the vaccine, dubbed SAV001-H, have already been completed on animals. Phase 1 human trials will check the safety of the vaccine on HIV positive volunteers. Phase 2 will then test immunogenicity."
