Fairweather fans...

Well, the Dallas Fairweather fans have all become die hard hockey fans. Especially since the Dallas MyLittlePonies have choked. Seriously, the Mavericks in the playoffs go down faster than a drunk girl at a University of Michigan Frat Party.....

You know, I hope the Red Wings KILL the Stars in the next round (since the Wings lead 3-0, and the Stars lead 3-1, it's almost a foregone conclusion they'll meet.)

Hey did you guys see the beating the Tigers gave the Rangers? 10-2, 18-6, and 8-2. Now, the Tigers are leading the Yankers (at Yankee Stadium) 4-3 in the 5th... Tigers going for a sweep in the Dump That Ruth Built. (SUCK IT, NEW YORK!)

Here's a Poll: Is there a worse city for Fairweather Fans than Dallas? I mean, the Philly fans suck, but at least the show up when their teams suck...

  • I was pulling for the Sharks. Not over yet, but might as well be. The Red Sox came back from 3-0, and it has happened two or three times in the NHL before, but ... not holding my breath.

And HOLY CRAP I just checked the Avs score. Damn. They just completely gave up, didn't they? And by "they" I mean the Red Wings, after they were up 7-1 with two periods completed ...
    • The Wings did that to the Avs once before - on Patrick Roy in Game 7, no less.

YANKERS SWEPT BY TIGERS! HA HA HA HA HA HA

Pistons advance, too - not that I care about the NBA much.
      • YANKERS SWEPT BY TIGERS!
My warmest appreciation and thanks go out to you and yours.

  • all the way.

The Suns folding up in the first round was not expected in Phoenix - or my house. The good thing is I don't have to worry about watching basketball any more.

Right now I'm most looking forward to the Champions League final on the 21st. Of course, in reality I probably only like the idea of soccer [wordpress.com] but I will be watching the game.
  • Hate to say it, but sports just aren't as important there. Of course there's a lot mroe to do there, too;-)
  • I am not gloating, I am just referring to your previous post [slashdot.org]. Tigers are in a mini-slump, Sox just got out of one. Four game series in Comerica starts tonight!
