iTunes is explict monopoly in this field, and available only in selected countries. Even where it is available there is no full service - in some countries everything is very expensive even in iTunes, in most countries you can't buy newest stuff, and you can't buy tv episodes.

I wouldn't call it exactly a choice. However, I'm planning to buy 21 and Wasting Light in it, as (finally) I can do it legally in my country.

I really enjoy rights of free speech, and I will get modded down for this, but I will say:
ENOUGH WITH THIS - "BUT..BUT...BUT US IS NO BETTER!" - BULLSHIT. It is childish to insist to push your message like this and you know it - but still doing it. And no, you won't get death row because you will say something awfully bad about Jesus or Maria or God in US.

So get a grip, really. One think is constructive criticism of capitalism (or social, or whatever) system of US, but something totally different from outright comparing US with Saudi Arabia where they perform death penalty by sword. And for reasons like this.

You really *don't* have a fucking clue what's going on in Russia, do you? Completely empty buzzword comparison. While of course it's oligarchy, however it is totally different in execution.

Believe me, what's going on with Capitalism in US and the world is bad enough on their own. There's no need to attach it to to every criticism on Russia :)

....Ohhh, nevermind :)

This is actually non-news. Everyone with long enough experience with web for last four years have seen them at almost any article or resource giving Russia, Soviet Union or Kremlin bad rep. Wikipedia articles about USSR or about Bolshevist crimes - those pages have experienced heavy shelling from these guys. They are obsessed with pointing that you are wrong, not they.

I don't even care about them anymore. I'm just sad that such big country and yet they are living in paranoia, investing almost nothing in infrastructure, but in same time waste their money to play hardliners and allow people to die (yeah, about Syria), and meddling with politics in their neighborhood countries. You can't get your respect in such way.

Nothing really more to say, haven't followed this one that closely, but as I read in ArsTechnica ReDigi have made sure that their system is according to (their interpretation) of the law, which is still much higher level than Megaupload.

This case also will be really interesting, because it clashes author rights to control distribution of copyrighted work and first sale doctorine. And juge seems to be sane so whatever his decision will be I will treat with respect.
