Is it wrong I read that with the Martin voice?
Is there any other way to read it?
Of course not. Marvin forgot to patent the voice. Poor Marvin!
At least Android tells me what an application tries to do, so I decide not to install it.
And this is why I bought Permissions Pro. It enables me to lock permissions for programs that read "phone state" ect. And interestingly my battery consumption is much better for it, 1 day 20 hours with 48% remaining on my Galaxy S2.
BTW, has anyone even seen the left wing of politics in australia recently? Is there still a left wing? it all feels pretty right with a varying amount of authoritarian and nannying.
Living in Queensland and watching the US politics in action reminds me that we still have some semblance of sanity here. However the difference between left and right here has diminished to the degree where even at the last elections I voted Green for the very first time in my life (48) and it looks like I will again.
"With the recent controversy surrounding the proposed SOPA legislation, lawmakers have been throwing around a lot of terms that they might not be entirely familiar with. Their justification for the SOPA legislation was rogue sites transmitting pirated material, this initiative of course being backed by the MPAA and RIAA. There's some big money lobbying right there. The problem is, that the side effects would have been pretty much catastrophic."
Perhaps in the wake of the debacles that were SOPA & PIPA, the good people of congress will get motivated to educate themselves on what DNS is. If you want to read the rest of the article and watch an awesome animation that pretty much covers exactly how DNS works, check out the original source. The animation itself is on LearnDNS.com."

I have no ducks in my hifi. Am I doing it wrong?
The Weather Channel, however, robbed me of all of that. They unilaterally overruled me, and decided how my photo would be used. They took my photograph without asking, chopped off my signature, put ads beside it, and to try and stay on the right side of fair use gave me the most obscure credit they could muster.
Talk about a slap in the face.
It’s a letdown, but not one I can do much about.
Let me try to turn a negative into a positive, though. Let this be a teachable moment.
It’s important to remember that, in an age of bills like SOPA, it’s not always the little guy that engages in “piracy”.
According to their own website:
The Weather Channel Companies are owned by a consortium made up of NBC Universal and the private equity firms The Blackstone Group and Bain Capital.
That’s right NBC Universal a company which supports SOPA just nabbed my photograph.
I suppose they’ll be the first to pull the plug on The Weather Channel website. After all, piracy in all its forms, is wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong."

As an Aussie, xmas is just about enjoying a BBQ with family and drinking a few beers, that's it for me. â(TM)¥
As an Aussie, isn't that how you basically celebrate every holiday?
Indeed! Also most weekends.
Long live Terry Pratchett.
Perhaps those who love his writings should wear lilac on the day he dares to pass away just as the Watch did in "Night Watch."
We call him the "The fat man in the red suit" and my eldest son when he was about 5 would run and hide at the merest glimpse of one in the distance
In my house WE (the parents) give our kids pressies NOT some stranger in a red suit!
Why should someone else get the praise when its our hard worked for money that paid for it all?
My two cents anyway - Now I'm broke LOL
