+ - Raspberry Pi Needs CE Certificate-> 1

judgecorp writes "After many delays, the Raspberry Pi computer has arrived in Britain, but has been stopped by the need for a CE approval sticker to say it meets European regulations. The Raspberry Pi Foundation expects the sticker to be a formality, and says it failed to apply because it thought the Pi did not qualify as a "finished end product"."

Capcom 'Saddened' By Game Plagiarism Controversy 163

Posted by Soulskill
from the all-the-way-to-the-bank dept.
Capcom's recent release of action platformer Maxsplosion for the iPhone caused indie developer Twisted Pixel to call Capcom out for copying the concept from their successful Xbox Live game 'Splosion Man. Twisted Pixel said they had no plans for legal action, since they were "too small to take on a company like Capcom." The indie studio had even pitched the game to Capcom for publishing at one point, but were declined. Now, Capcom has released a statement denying that Maxsplosion's development team had any knowledge of the meetings and saying, "MaXplosion was developed independently by Capcom Mobile. Nonetheless, we are saddened by this situation and hope to rebuild the trust of our fans and friends in the gaming community."

I don't know about you, but my back-ups (containing all the information I care about) are not accessible with my unprivileged account...

LOL. Cars, bikes and pedestrians play a kind of rock-paper-scissors in Amsterdam. Cyclists lose to cars, pedestrians lose to cyclists and cars lose to pedestrians because if a car hits a pedestrian, it's always the drivers fault, even if the pedestrian jumps in front of the car while out of his mind on pot, shrooms and alcohol. So it's best to sit in the tram, it hits cars, cyclists and pedestrians undiscriminately ;-)

Not that Amsterdam is such a sane city, but it sounds like you needed some Amsterdam-time after your 'insane' experiences!

I hope it helped.

Time to take stock. Go home with some office supplies.
