He has had hip replacement surgery. "Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura is suing the TSA and Homeland Security for humiliating and ‘offensive’ pat-down procedures he’s been subjected to during airport security checks that included ‘warrantless, non-suspicion-based offensive touching, gripping and rubbing of the genital and other sensitive areas of his body.’ "

He is suing them in court.

Free health care in Canada is the best thing ever. It costs us 60$ a month to pay for it.
Since I can no longer and on disability I would hate to have to consider extra costs.

I think that the problem that in the states it is too much narrow minded thinking.

Even Cuba has free healthcare.

The other side of the Theatre is the TSA. Another fear-mongering bunch. So much money wasted on this and doing little but turning everyone into suspects. The new scanners don't work well at finding things, that are ones stomach, and on a side.

Would it not be easier, and cheaper to use a time-tested method of metal detectors and every ones favorite sniffing dogs.

Since recently the FBI(?) had busted a group of people for smuggling 50lbs of coke on to a plane, by using a 'secret tunnel. The arrest involved baggage handlers and members of the TSA.

So this is truly a don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain moment.
