Long time ago, I found out that a good user interface is intuitive. After reading Don Norman's book 'The Design of Everyday Things' http://www.amazon.com/Design-Everyday-Things-Donald-Norman/dp/0385267746 I started to understand the how and why of good GUI design. I then decided to write only console based programs and daemon's :-)
