+ - Best Shopping Cart for multiple storefronts? ->

BikeTrailerShop writes: "I run a fairly successful online storefront selling bike cargo trailers. I've been using the free open source shopping cart OsCommerce. I'm interested in upgrading to a more comprehensive shopping cart service like the one at http://zoovy.com./ One of the key features I'm interested in is a shopping cart that can combine sales from multiple storefronts so that I can open up a group of niche online stores. Does anyone have any experience with Zoovy or any other shopping carts that can handle multiple storefronts?"

Did anyone else read that as "High Budget Slashdot Fiction"?

I started to imagine a $200 Million romantic comedy set in Soviet Russia, starring Al Gore as Cowboyneal and Natalie Portman as herself, building a beowulf cluster so they could send a message into space to welcome our new manbearpig overlords, but instead they accidentally broadcast the goatse image... And somewhere in there, Steve Ballmer would throw a chair at William Shatner.

Ok, I think I've read enough /. today. Time for bed.

+ - SPAM: Online cartoonist breaks publishing record?

destinyland writes: "The first collection of "Perry Bible Fellowship" comics racked up pre-sales of $300,000 due to its huge online following, and within seven weeks required a third printing. Ironically, the 25-year-old cartoonist speculates people would rather read his arty comics in a book than on a computer screen, and warns that "There's something wonderful, and soon-to-be mythic, about the printed page..." He also explains the strange anti-censorship crusade in high school that earned him an FBI record!"
