Style depends on where you live and what conventions you follow. In Canada, we seem to be adopting American spellings and punctuation rules I think more as a result of the auto-correction features and misspelling underlines in Firefox et al than a desire to conform to your standard. Laziness (failing to employ Canadian English dictionaries etc.) results in homogeneity favouring (yes there's a 'u' in there) the culture that designed the tool. Here's the breakdown on punctuation -- I happen to follow the British style myself.

TV Ontario Domain Hijacked By Network Solutions

Submitted by

MindspanConsultants writes "The TV Ontario domain (now additionally host to the extremely popular Search Engine podcast) has been redirected to a Network Solutions advertising page, most likely as a result of a tardy renewal. Network Solutions seems to have recently reduced the time between a domain's expiration and their hijacking of it having just experienced a similar event, I can tell you it's now less than a week. This is a significantly reduced grace period which is bound to cause issues for many."

Are you serious? Sure they'll send you a new one... and then another... and yet another, each time your brand new machine fails instead of doing good quality control at the outset. Then when you're one minute beyond the warranty period of the FIRST machine they sent you that was broken, you're SOL. The Internet is filled with Dell nightmares... here's mine: Dell's Quality Control and Service is Total Crap

MindspanConsultants writes "After waiting to the last minute (Apple had announced it would be releasing DRM free music on iTunes in May), Apple finally pulled the trigger on making the DRM free EMI catalogue available on iTunes — excluding Beatles songs. In order to take advantage of this offer, you must download iTunes Plus.

Songs will be $1.29 for 256kbps versions, while 128kbps versions will still be available for $0.99."
