Oracle making OpenOffice.org a profit center?

Maude Frickert writes "Looks like the "free" just left OpenOffice.org. Just got an email from Oracle offering a 15% discount if I purchase "Oracle Open Office" (sic) now ($41.95 vs $49.95). Went to the OpenOffice.org download site, and it is "temporarily" down."
