I've been reading Slashdot since it was Chips n Dips. I finally decided to re-register using my real name rather than a handle. Low UIDs are over-rated; They're just a DB key anyway. I bitch constantly about the low editorial quality on Slashdot, but clearly I never learn and keep coming back for more.

I use the foes/friend thing to mod up people. I hate that it's named foes/friends but it's the only way I have to mod people up. It's also unfortunate that I only have two categories to put people in. If you end up on my foes list it means I like what you have to say (+1). If you end up on my friends list then I like what you have to say even more (+2).

I'm an amateur videographer, pilot (PSEL), and a UNIX enthusiast. RHCE. Debian fan.
