I keep tabs open for certain sites. A bunch of sites (forums, etc) that I want to check regularly, and some other things I'll want to have a look at now and then.
The competition pro is decent as far as I know. I've seen it survive a rough game of Decathlon. If you know that game, you'll know what I mean.
Seriously, no. How much lazier can we get? I personally enjoy walking myself, I don't need something to do it for me... And when I stop walking, I want to stand still, not continue moving. Also kind of seems a waste of electricity.

You can do that in firefox. Type a site like that in the addressbar. It'll use the google "I'm feeling lucky" thing 9 out of 10 times. The other time it'll show you search results.

A better idea is to just not endlessly repeat shit. Repeat it maybe once every few months, and the rest of the time: if you don't have anything new to show, just turn off the fucking transmitter. That should save some energy.

That might be a reason. Most netbooks have the Intel chipset which sucks a lot more power than the NVidia one. That might be a reason to want smaller screens, seeing as that would save *some* power...
