KingJawa writes: Jimmy Wales' search project takes another page from the Wikipedia playbook, allowing anyone to plug into the search results. His new search application framework is "like Facebook Apps For Search Results", per an interview with TechCrunch. Anyone can build a search app which resides on Wikia Search with the application framework. How long before we see a muxtape application? Or a (gasp) goatse one?

While I agree it's more liberal than not (understatement), that's not the real issue. Instead, it's the Howard Stern Postulate: You have to have people who read (listen to) you because they hate you, too.

And people who disagree aren't going to pay $1, let alone $20.
