How is "250Gigabytes" being measured (by ComCast), anyway? Is it a cumulative total? Is it a rate of flow? Here is one approach (cumulative): I download at 7.5Mbps,(Mediacom) which translates to 0.94MBps. Now let's see. If I am on the 'Net 60 seconds/1 minute, that would mean 56.4MB was used.(?) If I am on for 60 minutes/1 hour, that would be 3384MB (or 3.384GB) was used.(?) [Note: little b = bits, big B = bytes] OK, divide 250GB by 3.384 = 73.88. That would mean approx. 74 hours per month, or roughly 2.5 hrs./day. Is THAT what they mean??
