Currently I'm a grad student at Purdue University. I worked in IT for about 8 years before changing career directions and getting an undergrad degree in accounting. I worked in many different environments ranging from the DoD to a small full-service IT provider. I finished my IT career by focusing on implementing systems to increase efficiency such as improved accounting and CRM systems. My next job (yes, I already landed it) is to be a general manager at a small property management business. My focus there will be on implementing as much automation as possible to allow growth without significantly increasing expenses as well as devising growth strategies through marketing, human resources, and operations.
My hobbies still include almost anything tech. While I don't write much code I still maintain a web server just for the fun of it, read up as much as possible on what new techs are on the horrizon, and try to keep my gadgets up to date. I am also an outdoorsman.
