Jardine writes "According to Gateworld.net, Stargate SG-1 is not being renewed for a tenth season. Low ratings, increased timeslot competition, and Battlestar Galactica not being part of the Friday night lineup all contributed to the cancellation. Stargate Atlantis will continue to be produced."
