So, on my laptop, I composed a Gsheet that detailed my crosstrainer exercise routines. Time spent, calories burned, my weight in kg, etc. A couple of graphs and some conditional formatting. I was playing with the functionality more than anything else. Gsheet looked promising.

You're going to hate this, but I'm still using that same sheet today. I fill in the data, not on a tablet, but on my Samsung S2. It's perfect. I get off the crosstrainer, pick up my S2 (which has been sending music to my bluetooth speaker), tap the shortcut and enter data in half a dozen cells.

Can you see a better method?

Have some more coffee. It's good for you.

You've got to love the SOGA.

If you buy a builder's brick, you expect that to last 100 years, and that's what the SOGA covers. All these warranties are complete bollocks.

I expect a TV to last a good 5 or 6 years, the SOGA covers that too. They gave you a credit because they had to, not because they're a Nice Shop (tm).

A pair of socks? Maybe they'll last 12 months. Not a problem.

This'll get buried, but I have to post it anyway. I couldn't give two shits about Karma.

The six criminals who were convicted yesterday in the UK were caught because they had no car insurance, and the bombs were in the car they were stopped in.

Intelligence, like all these snooping methods, has been useless. The police got lucky, again.

Oh but there are, if you class the internet as public, which I do.

I'm not from the USA and I've been curious about the "Bubba" you all talk about. My curiousity has been fed many times over the years. *cough*Reddit*cough* introduced me to the many stories.

My thoughts on the matter are simplified as: Gaol (jail) and prison are different places in the USA. One is easy time, the other one is hard time. Keep your head down and do your time and you wont get bothered too much. Pretty much the same as the UK.

It is an issue. With those three numbers, I can possibly gain authetication from another company for another account owned by the credit card holder. "Can you just confirm the last three digits of your credit card please?"

It's all about gaining one little piece of information at a time until the full picture is seen.

Nice.

We have the small claims court in the UK, and although I've never used it, I know people who have.

Most cases are handled by arbitration these days. Both sides post their evidence to the arbitrator and he decides the outcome. The three parties may never meet.

A lot of large companies do not "turn up" and they lose by default. When you're only claiming 450 GBP plus costs, it's cost effective if they don't turn up.

A win for the little people is always a good win.
