+ - Apple rejects competing app from iPhone store->

Submitted by F*ingNickName
F*ingNickName (1362625) writes "Apple, having previously decided to remove Netshare from the store and reject Pull My Finger entirely, has just rejected a Podcaster. The app "allow[s] one to update podcasts directly on the device over wifi", bypassing iTunes, but because iTunes allows users to upload podcasts — providing they're near a PC — Apple decided that Podcaster was competing with their own offering. Should developers put time and effort into iPhone development if, at the last stage, their lovingly crafted app is arbitrarily rejected?"
