you sir are an idiot of the highest order. We are already undertaking an extraordinary amount of geoengineeering in spewing huge amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. How is compensating for that by removing some CO2 in any way risky. Such stupidity of course could only come from an idiot.

Funny how pro nuke people seem to believe every word scientists say on the safety of reactors, when those scientists have vested interests, often directly profiting from the nuclear industry, but will with utter seriousness say climate scientists are corrupt and not to be trusted due to their supposed benefit from grants. Cognitive dissonance at its finest.

If the US had a liveable minimum wage it would help. In Australia the minimum is around $20 us an hour. That none of you see the stupidity of expecting people to work to earn less than they need to survive is typical of the I've got mine stuff you nature of Americans, or to put it simply selfish bastards.

Alright imagine this: you get a large round bath made of ebony.

Where from? Harrod’s was destroyed by the Vogons.

FORD:
Well it doesn’t matter -

ARTHUR:
So you keep saying!

FORD:
No, No listen. Just imagine that you’ve got this ebony bath, right? And it’s conical.

ARTHUR:
Conical? What kind of bath is -

FORD:
No, no, shh, shhh, it’s, it’s, it’s conical okay? So what you do, you fill it with fine white sand right? Or sugar, or anything like that. And when it’s full, you pull the plug out and it all just twirls down out of the plug hole but the thing is

ARTHUR:
Why?

FORD:
No, the clever thing is that you film it happening. You get a movie camera from somewhere and actually film it. But then you thread the film in the projector backwards.

ARTHUR:
Backwards?

FORD:
Yeah, neat you see. So what happens is you sit and you watch it and then everything appears to swirl upwards, out of the plug hole and fill the bath amazing.

ARTHUR:
And that’s how the universe began?

FORD:
No. But it’s a marvellous way to relax.

Exactly, it constantly amazes me that some of the posters here who rely on science in almost every aspect of their lives can be convinced by either the media or their own self interest to deny reality with the thoroughly debunked skeptics arguments. There's a sucker born every minute apparently.
