  • But only black ones. I have an aversion to green olives, stuffed or unstuffed. And I LOVE kalamata's. Probably my mom's fault; we used to get pizza from a greek place (Zorba's in Irmo, SC -- last I checked, it was still there) and she'd always get hers with black olives because they put katamalas on the pizza. Yummy!
  • I love the black ones on salad, in salad, on pizza, and to eat just by hand.

    Green olives are good on a burger. There's a chain in NE OH called Swensons who's premier burger is the Galley Boy: two patties, cheese, two sauces and a green olive on a toothpick on the top. The thing is fucking delicious. I always stop by for a meal when I go back to the parents'.

    Basic math has: black olives good cold, green olives good slightly warmed.
  • as long as it's raw and french onion dip is available. I'll eat cooked/steamed broccoli as long as it's a legit part of a larger meal, but not by itself.
  • I'd be hard pressed to pick between broccoli and mushrooms -- they're both favorites. Hubby's a sucker for brussels sprouts. Neither of us likes olives. But Kiddo will eat it all.

    Uh... I'll take mushrooms for $500 Alex. My next choice would be brocolli. All that other stuff you can feed to a cow so I can then eat beef. ;-)

  • Nothing wrong with a good mushroom sauce to slather over a steak.

    Some of the others I'll also eat, but olives are something I avoid whenever possible.

    Just remember with enough cheese sauce, or chocolate sauce, almost anything can be eaten.

  • I love broccoli. Particularly with cheese sauce, but plain is fine... as long as it's cooked. I never liked raw broccoli for some reason.
    • I am absolutely with you on this one. Raw broccoli feels funny. It's the same sensation as running your finger over a clean plastic bowl and getting the "errrp!" sound because your finger won't slide smoothly...

  • Mmmmmm.... broccoli and carrots in a dish with a layer of cheese melted on top. Raw broccoli. Broccoli and cheese on baked potato. Yes, I definitely like broccoli.

      I actually really like Broccoli. It smells terrible, but it tastes good if it is cooked right.

      But I absolutely love mushrooms so I'll pick mushrooms.

      Or should I pick a great big snake under the Other catagory?

      Never tried snake, but I'd be willing to try.

      When I was in florida I had either Alligator, or Crocodile, which ever one is not endangered in Florida.
