The parent is wrong. Nothing has replaced the A-10. The Pentagon tried to kill the Warthog earilier this year until everyone who actually uses them screamed bloody murder.

This fricken plane is airworthy with half a wing and an engine missing. Could the F-35 do that?

The Iraqis don't want us to send troops over there to deal with the ISIS business. They have plenty of troops of their own. What they have asked for is some air support. Immagine what a couple of A-10 squadrons would do there..

Playing fetch with my Black Lab is cruel. To me. After a day with her, I feel like I am ready to blow out a rotator cuff or need Tommy John surgery. The damn dog NEVER gets tired. Walking her in the usual fashion is impossible. The only way I can reasonably "walk" her is with a skateboard. Specifically a Landyachtz Evo downhill racer. Riding a skateboard at Black Lab speeds can be terrifying, but one of those bad boys is super stable. Still doesn't tire the dog, though. :)

You could just go to http://www.netcraft.com which has a search function to do just that.  They also have an anti-fishing toolbar which will give very detailed information about a site.  For example:

I'm pretty knowledgeable about the computers, I'm fluent in two coding languages (Lua and JavaScript), but when I look at Ubuntu, though I've gotten pretty far on my own, I'd like to know if I'm missing anything. I've been prowling the forums learning how to use it, but it seems people don't really respond to my questions on Absolute Beginners. I'd like to know what there is for me to optimize my Ubuntu experience."
