Earthpaladin writes "Greetings, I'm a 26 year old with an associate degree in business management (I went to a local tech school after high school). Most people my age have bachelor degrees, so I'm kind of at a disadvantage. I've been looking for a job since I got it last year. I haven't been able to find anything locally. The thought of going back to college has occured to me. The though of getting my bachelor degree in business administration, then maybe computer science. But the place I want to go teaches the computer science in java. I've heard more things about that. I've tried learning to program before from tutorials and library books, but I have found it's not really sufficient. Plus I have never really been good at math. There is a local university that has programming classes but I would have to start over. However, the opportunity does exist for me to get some training paid for. I have heard people who learn the graphics have an advantage over people who learn programming first. So should I do something else like graphic design? I'm a little concerned that my lack of math will hamper any attempt at programming. Because I have always wanted to learn how to program. I have a basic knowledge of computers but I want to learn more than just a hobbyists skills. Another thought is getting a job in the area I want to go to school in. I was thinking of getting a job with a company that has tuition assistance. Then working full-time and going to school as well. But I am really anxious to get out and start making some money. I'm kind of concerned that going back to college won't be cost benifitual."

One way to save costs would be to let our allies in on our research. If India and Japan got the lead over china in space research it might indirectly help us. Also it would help us by cutting costs. Personally, I feel that nasa should become more like the FAA, in that it regulates companies doing business in space. Rather than doing actual launching itself. That way less people on government payroll the better.
