EWillieL writes "Ray Noorda, CEO of Novell from 1983 to 1994, and founder of The Canopy Group, has passed away at the age of 82. He had reportedly suffered from heart disease and Alzheimer's for the last two years. He is survived by his wife, four sons, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His only daughter preceded him in death."
