My commuter car is a GEM E2.

It's basically a glorified golf cart and certainly not for everyone, but it suits my 12 mile commute quite well. Assuming .10 a kWh, and what seems to be an average consumption rate of 184Wh per mile, my cost works out to about .0184/mi. It's actually kind of fun to drive, too.
