+ - Consumer Encryption for a post post-FISA world?

Submitted by Dogun
Dogun (7502) writes "With the spiritual death of FISA fast approaching, our communications are less secure than ever. What sort of painless solutions are out there for consumers wishing to have secure, end-to-end encryption of their cellphone, landline, and email conversations? Does the device have a chance of gathering broad market appeal? Is it affordable? Are keys shared and stored in a sensible manner?

To wit, why don't we all have secure communication so easy your grandmother could use it?"

Avoid strange women and temporary variables.
