+ - Amazon book banning the result of XSS, not policy 1

Submitted by Dead-Bum
Dead-Bum (119641) writes "Turn out all the furor over Amazon's takedown of books was hilariously ill placed. The books were taken down not as a result of some draconian policy from Amazon, but from a simple bash script that utilized cross site request forgery. Read all about it here. You may recognise the author, he's the same guy that was partially featured in a New York Times article on trolling. Seems the purpose wasn't profit, or a message, but just to piss off a lot of people. With google news and regular media outlets following this story closely, I would say that it has worked."

"One Architecture, One OS" also translates as "One Egg, One Basket".
