The course I had on x86 assembler in college was an interesting class. I noticed that many of my peers seemed to just suffer their way through the course while to me it was just another computer language. Is this a viable niche to build a career in? What skills are needed to break into this field? How would someone prepare for such a career? Where are the low level programming jobs?"
