It is fast on rendering, but you must wait to see the entire page.
So the overall speed is comparable to Safari.
It is possible to save login/password pairs: so it is a plus

It is concurrency to evolve to better memory management, not the opposite.
A modern PC has a small amount of RAM, plenty of Hard disk space and network storage.
Operating System evolved for managing CPU time and application memory. The application has little knowledge of memory management.

In a similar way, database are a way of managing huge amount of information, in the same abstraction like Service Oriented Application can be seen like an abstraction of web communication.

On my unlocked-iphone Tethering works great with Vodafone Carrier.
I have tested it with a Macbook via Bluetooth.

I think the apple position is unfair but in Apple rights..
If you jailbreak the iPhone and try to connect to iTuneStore, you cna harm the DRM iPhone Apps.
Apple has the right to ban some iPhone serials if this can be a security risk.

Doing so, the iPhone becomes the less free-to-use device I have never see
