Journal: Checking In 2

Journal by Crusader7

Wow, it's been ten days since I last posted anything on Slashdot.

We moved three servers over the weekend to new locations, that wasn't fun. One of them was a SQL server database with about ninety five gigs of data and we had to verify the entire thing. I was there until 10:30 on Saturday night as a result. Our software guys also had to update some of their code because the new servers went from \\soLiveData to \\soLData (which got more than a few snickers).

Anyway, I'm still here. I still post AC sometimes like I used to because I forget that I have an account now :)

Oh well, how are you doing?

Journal: Doing A Bad Job?

Journal by Crusader7

The dollar is up on news that September job losses were less than expected despite two major hurricanes:

Efforts by United States agencies thwarted ten terrorist attacks:

All that and there weren't thousnads of dead or people's bodies stacked in freezers. Plus the President will be assisting with the rebuilding New Orleans by providing monetary and federal support. He didn't nominate the dreaded "extremists" the liberals were afraid of and al quaeda is indicating impending defeat in Afghanistan and flagging public support and funds in Iraq.

And he's doing such a bad job that so many people disapprove of him?

Journal: Tom DeLay 2

Journal by Crusader7

I don't know a whole lot about this Tom DeLay situation, but based on the mud slinging the democrats have been doing around him for the last year or so, I doubt that he's actually done anything wrong.

The democrats seem so desperate anymore that it's sort of like watching a dying animal after it gets hit by a train. It's really a moral question should someone just put them out of their misery and disband them, or should they be given a chance to recover if they can find a way to do it?

I don't know, but I wish in their death throes they wouldn't do so much damage to America in the process. They could go down with some dignity instead of trying to drag the rest of us down with them.

Hey, this journal thing is sort of neat :)
