This account started out as a Troll account. I though "Corporate Troll" would be a funny nick, and so that was perfect to start trolling. Well, unfortunately I didn't like trolling so I use this account to post a bit more controversial things. However I still often say things on this account that I barely mean, just to stir up conversation.
My regular account [slashdot.org] is much older, and since it's maxed out on Karma, I don't use it that much anymore. Just for journals most of the time.

Ferrari?
I might have mentioned it, but the building I work now is just next to a Ferrari dealership I've learnt a few things, like for example, that Ferraris are delivered in closed trucks instead of the classic car transportation trucks. They are completely wrapped in a silk like textile upon delivery. There are also a metric ton of Ferrari owners in this country and currently the "Spring Ballet of Ferraris" is going on, meaning all owners bring them along for inspection before the summer starts.
It's a very interesting passtime when watching out of the kitchen window while boiling water for my tea.
Today, however, I saw one of the oddest things ever. This peroxide blonde woman drove there with her big ass Mercedes SLK and parks in front of the garage and goes in. Weird, why? Because that woman was my mother in law! That's also why I know that it's a big ass Mercedes SLK, because I know it was in the 50k€ range. That one was bought last September. You're not honestly going to tell me that she's going for a Ferrari now, right? If she has that kind of money she could as well help sponsor a home for her future grandchildren (none on the way, just in case you think).
Ah, perhaps she's just seducing the owner of the garage. Such antics wouldn't surprise me at all from her...

18 months? Are you serious?
18 months... That's the time I'm supposed to stay at this client. I've been coming at work late (11:00 in the "morning"), leaving early, be quite lazy and surf on the job, and... they still want to keep me.
Huh? WTF do I have to do to be seen as incompetent? What did my boss tell them? That I'm the miracle cure to all their woes? I'm not, I most certainly guarantee you that. I also have zero interest in learning EMC^2 Documentum.
Anyway, my wife got pretty much a 10% raise and she now officially earns a good 1000€ more than me per month. I really should have become a kindergarden teacher instead of wasting all my time to learn computer science. In completely unrelated news, I pay a good 30€ taxes more per month: the HQ moved 1km or so closer to my home, and due to that my tax-advantages are gone. Of course, the irony in that is that I currently work at the client and because of that I pay about 140€/month more in gas. Of course, I can't put that on my expense sheet.
If this continues, I impregnate my wife and become a homemaker caring for the kids. *sigh*
Isn't there really any opensource friendly Linux job in this fucking country?
