Finding developers for Linux audio software->

Submitted by
Consul
Consul writes "Project Nuclear is currently two people on a mission to create the next generation of software synthesis, sampling, and effects for the Linux audio platform. The problem is, we're only two guys. Although we've had a few bites from other developers, nobody has really stepped up as of yet to help us take on some of the tasks that need done. We have some great ideas for interfaces, engines, integrated scripting, and DSP algorithms, with some core code done, but we could really use some solid CS-type people. Anyone interested?"

What is the oldest code written still running? 2

Submitted by Consul
Consul writes "This is something I've been thinking about lately, and I think it would make for an interesting exercise and debate. What is the oldest piece of code that is still in use today, that has not actually been retyped or reimplemented in some way? By "piece of code", I'm of course referring to a complete algorithm, and not just a single line. So, does anyone think there's a routine out there that has survived the ages simple by being copied around?"
