Like giving kids TV when they want actual parental interaction. Perfect!
That is banking on alot of assumptions.
Good for you. As a Bank of America customer, I'm transferring more money over to them because they are willing to stand up to a bully who is in receipt of a stolen hard drive and trying to damage the organization.
Hardly an instrument of US Foreign Policy if Assange is trying to shit on them (and has a stolen hard drive) and they are working to protect themselves.
Having a hard drive of a B of A executive is hardly conclusive as to the banks safety. As far as we know, the contents might have been removed, etc - and it was sent in for repair.
On a side note, I do wonder how he obtained it. Perhaps the executive had their house robbed and when somebody realized the guy was with BofA they figured they'd send the drive over to Wikileaks to go to work on. Or perhaps the repair situation listed above.
It does need to be a lesson to every organization though. Wikileaks / Assange will turn on you any second that they think they have something that they can use to feed their ego. You're not safe doing business with this guy - he will gladly screw you over for his own good the first second he can.
On a side note, I'm going to go hide that childhood picture of me dressed as a girl for halloween... I'd hate to see it end up on Wikileaks after the cleaning lady steals it.
Of course, that would be more interesting than 99% of what Wikileaks has released so far.
I have to laugh that some stupid fuck modded this troll.
If you weren't a dumbass that could read past the first line you'd see it wasn't a troll.
You ignorant fuck.
That people on
These must be completely different people posting, because somebody who favors WL would be inclined to say that you shouldn't trust what the judge / etc are saying because they are in reality forcing their own agenda (or is only the state dept capable of doing that?).
Just want to point out a touch of hypocrisy that seems to be evident here.
The average juror isn't the most intelligent person on the planet (lawyers prefer those that they can influence).
I don't know if I want them automatically voting people not guilty just because the lawyer managed to get people with IQ scores 100 for the case.
I read books during college - I didnt just listen to my professor. By doing so, I was able to grasp the contents of the course much better than if I had done the alternative.
Not to mention people have different ways that they learn and understand things.
The option you are describing scares me and I don't think that it is based on solid reasoning.
I just want to point out - that in addition to NOT DELETING ITEMS FROM KINDLES, they are also refunding those items that they removed and allowing purchasers to keep their copy on their Kindle.
Thats about as generous a policy as you can get.
I've got to apologize, but I believe that is a lie that
Some people have claimed that Amazon deleted items from Kindles re: the incest items they stopped hosting in their store.
But sorry, as per the complaints regarding it that hit the Kindle forums - this stuff was deleted from the store and archives, not from kindle devices themselves.
Somewhat surprising it took until now... with our jobs often centered around working on the internet (as is the case for quite a many people even outside IT)... then of course staying in touch via personal email, facebook, etc. I could understand that the elderly had further to go, but in reality managing those things is pretty consuming (even without online gaming, etc).
As mentioned by others, I consume 99% of my television via Netflix. Usually once a series has finished I'll watch the whole thing in a week or two. I never did like the lag time between shows.
Great info, thanks for your response!
Haha, okay - I will say that his response to the original post was pretty spot on. I suppose I was just peeved because I fit into that category...
On a side note, did the OP really say that we should redo the Bill of Rights, etc because it doesn't protect us from making companies carry incest smut?
I think there is way too much over-reaction here. The
Just kidding of course... but really take our space for granted. I live on an acre and a half outside Chicago... and honestly, I hate that we have so much space that we don't even have decent public transportation outside the cities. I have to drive 15 miles to get to the train station to head down town, and outside of that public transportation in the states is simply archaic compared to most other countries.
Perhaps we don't "need more space". Do cubicles suck? Yeah they do... but, if you wanted enough space to fit every modern day employee in a 500 - 700 sq ft apartment, you'd better be okay with them cutting out a pretty large chunk of your pay check because that would be costly.
In a perfect world, everybody would telecommute and then drop by the office once or twice a week to ensure the company's atmosphere is cohesive, etc. The solution isn't to try and get everybody a bigger office.
Heck, I'm okay with working in 10 sq feet at Starbucks as much as possible... what people need isn't more space, but something that draws them away from the fact that cubicles are representative of our contained, lackluster lifes.
LOL, how is this post insightful in any way?
And saying "we kill all lawyers and MBAs"... gets a 4 rating.
This shows what the average dumb fuck mod here on
Go ahead and mod me down idiots, I have a little Karma to blow on that.
